This tīfaifai film was shot over a period of three years across the Pacific and part of the Indian Ocean. It offers us the voices and music of more than one hundred island artists on sixteen different islands. The songs and dances of the islands are the subject. Long journeys of ancient dugout canoes, sounds of the past and present and various musical instruments combine, highlighting the bonds created. From Papua to Aotearoa, from Tahiti to Vanuatu, music has no boundaries, safeguarding culture and the Earth.
